Spiderman, spiderman.. Look at that spider web.. fuiyoo.. mcm power g2.. Look hw strong it is..
Spider silk is a strong material..It has a tensile strength up to 1.3Gpa - about 1.65 Gpa..

Structure of spider silk. Inside a typical fiber, one finds crystalline regions separated by amorphous linkages. The crystals are beta-sheets that have assembled together.
Properties:
1) ductile - stretch up to 40% of original length w/o breaking
2)low in density
3) five times as strong as steel of the same density..
Currently, artificial spider silk is being used to stitch up surgeries or wound which will help heal w/o leaving a scar..
The spider silk is being produced in alfalfa (a name of a plant) and the silk protein in goats milk..
Who knows in the near future it would be used to mix with other composite such as titanium diboride to produce new armory..
